Authorisation
Parity Investments (Pty) Ltd trades as Parity Investments. Application for FSCA Financial Services Provider (FSP) authorisation under review (Ref. in progress). Until authorisation is confirmed, the firm is not permitted to conduct regulated financial services activities with clients in the Republic of South Africa. Content on this site is preparatory and marketing-only in the meantime.
Client classification
On authorisation, we will provide services exclusively to professional, institutional, and qualified investors as defined under the rules of Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). We do not accept retail clients and we do not intend to.
Conflicts of interest
We maintain a conflicts-of-interest policy identifying the circumstances that may give rise to a conflict entailing a material risk of damage to clients. The policy is available on request from compliance@parity-investments.com. The firm takes no third-party payments for order flow and operates no soft-dollar arrangements.
Best execution
Our order execution policy is designed to obtain the best possible result for clients on a consistent basis, having regard to price, costs, speed, likelihood of execution and settlement, size, nature, and any other relevant consideration. A summary is provided as part of the client onboarding pack.
Costs and charges
Management fees are specified in the investment management agreement for each mandate; there are no performance fees as a standard feature. Transparent cost and charges disclosures are issued prior to onboarding, and a full annual cost statement is issued to every client.
Complaints
Complaints should be directed to the compliance officer at compliance@parity-investments.com. Where a complaint cannot be resolved internally within the period required by applicable regulation, eligible clients may refer the matter to the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud).
Stewardship & voting
As a fixed-income manager we do not typically exercise voting rights attached to equities. Our engagement policy for consent solicitations, restructurings, and creditor-committee participation — the relevant expressions of stewardship in credit — is available on request.
